Camp Life
Experienced players and coaches make up the staff of counselors and instructors at the Big League Experience Baseball Camp. They give each camper individual attention, outstanding mentorship and skills training. The camp atmosphere is fun, spirited and professional. Players are developed through positive reinforcement and rewarding, enjoyable experiences in the spirit of competition.

Each day of the camp is broken out into sessions of Instruction, Game Time and Supervised Recreation. Instruction includes drills, positional work, chalk talk and video analysis. Each afternoon the players compete in throwing, running, hitting, bunting and fielding segments. Teams compete throughout the week in games, and also earn points for good sportsmanship and behavior culminating in an awards ceremony at the end of the camp. All players leave with individual written evaluations from their instructors.
Heart of the Okanagan
The Big League Experience Baseball Camp is located in Oliver, B.C., the heart
of the sunny Okanagan Valley. The area is surrounded by lakes, mountains, orchards, vineyards,
and golf courses, and offers many other outdoor activities for families to enjoy during their stay.
The climate, dry and hot, is ideal for baseball camps and tournaments as well as vacationing.
Facilities
Camp staff and the Oliver community work together to maintain the best fields and facilities in the
Pacific Northwest. The camp facilities include three 90' and four 60' baseball diamonds maintained to such
exceptional standards that they are used by B.C.'s top programs; the Provincial Canada Games Team and the 17
and under Selects program. The players are housed in the Oliver Arena building adjacent to the baseball diamonds
and the community swimming pool. Players are served nutritious and plentiful meals by a certified chef, and a snack
bar is available. Players can also purchase baseball attire from the camp.

Canadian National Coach and Milwaukee Brewers Scout, Marty Lehn and former infielder with.the Boston Red Sox/Colorado Rockies organizations, Colin Dixon.
Big League Experience Owners.
Marty is currently a Scout for the Milwaukee Brewers and has been a coach with Team Canada since 1991 in which the last couple of years have proved to be the most exciting. In 2003 he was part of the Canadian Coaching staff that qualified Canada for the 2004 Olympic games in the America's tournament help in Panama and then on the staff of the team that represented Canada at the Olympic Games held in Athens, Greece. In 1999, he was a coach of Team Canada at the Pan American Games, who grabbed the hearts of the country and the bronze medal. With Team B.C., Marty has led the team to a gold medal at the Canada Games in 2001 as well as a silver medal in 2005. In 1998, he was named Canadian Coach of the year, and in 1997 B.C. coach of the year.
He has been a guest coach with the Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago White Sox
organizations. He is a level III course conductor and leads a number of player clinics in Canada and the U.S. throughout the year.
Marty played and coached at Southeastern Louisiana University where he completed a Masters Degree in Exercise Science.
Colin is a former member of Team Canada's National team form 1986 - 2001. While with Team Canada Colin was
named to the America's All Star team in 1998 by hitting .438 and qualifying Canada to compete in the 1998 World Championships
held in Italy. In 1999 he was a member of the Canadian team that won the Bronze medal at Pan American games held in Winnipeg,
Manitoba.
In 1989 Colin was signed by the Boston Red Sox organization after receiving All American status while playing at Southeastern Louisiana University. Colin went on to play up to the AAA level with Boston and then was signed as a free agent by the Colorado Rockies.
Colin is a product of the B.C. Selects elite development programs and in 1986 at the age of 17 was the youngest player to have played for both Canada's National Senior and Junior Team.
