A Great Weekend of Baseball at the Calgary Super Clinic

This past weekend (March 2 & 3) the BLE made it’s way to Calgary, Alberta for it’s annual weekend spring training event with Jim Lawson’s PBF baseball Academy. It was a great weekend of baseball as an Elite group of instructors participated with a very strong PBF staff for the final push to prepare a number of the PBF players for their respective trips to Florida and Nevada.  MLB scouts Marty Lehn with the Brewers and Jamie Lehman of the Toronto Blue Jays had the opportunity to observer the talent in Calgary as well as offer some sugguestions to tweak some of the skills.  Both Marty and Jamie commented that it is such a pleasure to work with players that have not only a strong talent base, but such a desire to get better.  It’s a situation that they have with the  PBF program mixed with and coaches that creates a situation for them to succeed.   Jamie commented “It’s great to see the future of baseball is in good hands with the program Jim and his staff provide”.  Other staff included long time BLE instructor and former professional pitcher Brandon Newel.
