2016 SPRING TRAINING EVENT – PHOENIX, ARIZONA

Special News bulletin: Big League Experience will be holding a spring training camp in Phoenix, Arizona that will include the opportunity to play in a USSSA Championship tournament.

The USSSA Spring Championships Dual NIT Tournament is held in Phoenix, Arizona from March 18 – 20 in which Team BLE will be entering teams in the 10U, 11U and 12U Divisions.

10U Division Players must be born after May 1 of 2005

11U Division Players must be born after May 1 of 2004

12U Division Players must be born after May 1 of 2003

This BLE event will include a pre tournament camp in Phoenix prior to the tournament being held from Friday, March 18 to Sunday, March 20 (four games guaranteed).

Coaches will include:
Former Canadian Olympic team coach and Major League Scout Marty Lehn, five time World Series Champion and former MLB catcher and coach Bob Didier, 12 year major league pitcher and World Series winner Albie Lopez, Thompson Rivers University coach and former professional player Kyle Dhanani and University of Calgary coach and former professional pitcher Joe Sergent. Other guest coaches will be included as well.

Cost: $775.00cdn + GST

Unfortunately the cost of events such as these to the US is indicative to the exchange rate and with that in mind, we wish to offer all those participating a gift certificate of $100cdn towards our 2016 summer camps. As many of you are already making plans to participate in next year’s summer camp, this is a great way to save $100 towards the 2016 camp. Date: March 15 – 20 (Tuesday – Sunday )
Pre Tournament Spring Training Camp: From Tuesday, March 15 – 17
Tournament: The USSSA Spring Championships Dual NIT Tournament (March 18 – 20) is an annual event attracting teams from all over North America.
*This event is by Invitation Only. All players must be identified by BLE staff and receive an invitation to be able to participate.
Event Cost: $775.00 + GST
Must be Paid in Full 1 Month Prior to event date (by Feb. 15th), deposits are Non-Refundable

EVENT WILL INCLUDE:
– Ground transportation for players (while in Pheonix – to and from Team Hotel)
– Spring Training camp (Tuesday, March 15 to Thursday, March 17)
– Tournament fees in the USSSA Spring Championships Dual NIT (March 18 – 20)
– MLB Spring training game (TBA)
– Team hat/shirt and coaching instruction.

Hotel and Airfare

Coaches will be travelling on Monday, March 14 and will be flying home in the evening of March 20th.

Tuesday, March 15:
9:30am – 3:00pm; Team Practice
4:30pm: Team Function

Wednesday, March 16:
9:00 – 11:00am; Team Practice
6:00pm – 8:00pm: Team Practice/game

Thursday, March 17th:
10:00 – 12:00am ~ Specialty session + Team Time
1:00 – 3:00 ~ Practice

Friday, March 18 to Sunday, March 20th – Tournament – Games, TBA
