Cloverdale Spurs Bantam AAA Best of the West Classic 2013 Champions

Revenging an earlier loss in the Bantam Division, the Cloverdale Spurs Bantam AAA team proved to have the depth needed to make it through the 5 game weekend with a 7 – 3 victory over a very good Okotoks Dawgs “black” team. The Dawgs went through the round robin undefeated and actually beat Cloverdale in the first game of the tournament 9 -1, but the rematch had the Spurs ending out on top. To get to the finals, Cloverdale knocked off cross town rivals White Rock Tritons and Okotoks beat the PBF Redbirds. This 10 team tournament was highly competitive and gave the Bantam group an opportunity to face some stiff competition early in the season.
