Soroka and O’Neill experience the Big Leagues

We are excited to announce BLE had two former campers make their Major League debut just recently: Tyler O’Neill from Maple Ridge (Langley Blaze organization) came to camp in 2011 and made his debut vs. the Chicago Cubs on April 19th; Michael Soroka of Calgary (Pro Baseball Force (PBF)) and our Canadian Junior National team, came to camp in 2012 and 2013. Not only did Michael make his debut May 1 for the Atlanta Braves vs. the Mets, he got the victory after pitching 6 strong innings and defeated MLB All-Star Noah Syndergaard.

Both Soroka and O’Niell took part in BLE “Best of the West” Tournaments, adding to the list of MLB players who have attended such events!
