Dhanani signs with Alabama A & M
Long time Big League Experience camper Dustin Dhanani signs with Alabama A & M. After a two year tenure as a catcher with the Olympic College Rangers out of Bremerton Washington, Dustin graduated with an Associates of Arts degree and is looking forward to moving on to Alabama A & M to continue his playing and his academic career. A & M is in Huntsville, Alabama and is an NCAA Division I school that plays in the highly competitive SWAC Conference (Southwestern Athletic Conference) and proves to be a great fit for Dustin. Last year was a rebuilding year for the Bulldogs and with the addition of new recruits like Dustin and their returning players the Bulldogs are looking for a competitive season.
The long history of the Dhanani family and the BLE goes back for year’s as Larissa and Asif (Mom and Dad) have been great supporters as they have sent all their 3 boys to camp and have made Oliver their summer home during that time. Ironically their oldest boy Kyle was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers organization and was signed by camp owner and operator Marty Lehn (Milwaukee Brewers Scout) and as recently as last summer was a part of the Instructional team. Dustin was at camp in 2011 as a player and then as a Junior assistant coach to catching instructor Bob Didier (former catching coordinator of the Arizona D-backs).
Congratulations to Dustin as we look forward to keeping track of your development and wish you the greatest success in Alabama.
