Victoria Day Weekend Classic
As the season is now in full swing we take a weekend off from league play and battle in a competitive mid season tournament. The Big League Experience will continue its’ “Best of the West” tournament series play again in Kamloops at the beautiful McArthur Island complex on the Victoria day Long weekend. 21 teams from both sides of the Rockies will battle in three different divisions – Midget, Bantam and Pee Wee. Many of these teams are looking to take a break from league play and match up against teams they don’t usually play as well as prepare for upcoming playoff action once we head into the month of June (Yes, June…).
Here are the teams in the different divisions with a link to schedules below.
Midget/Jr. Premier Division will see 7 teams battle it out: The Chilliwack Cougars, Cowichan Valley Mustangs, Kamloops River Dogs, Nanaimo Bucs, North Shore Jr.Twins, Prince George Knights and south Fraser Giants. This round robin play will have everyone play a double header on the Saturday and then be seeded 1 through 7 with the #1 and #2 seed team battling in out Sunday morning with two chances to get to Semi final action.
